Great site! Truly enjoyed the songs from our era. Sure stirred up memories that have been "long forgotten". If there is anything that I could do to help, just ask and I will do my best. And please...nobody but my Mother calls me Sheryl...and that's only when she is preturbed with me...I go by Sherri.

Hi all you UTHS Panthers, Great site. Thanks to all who helped put it together. I'm glad the banquet will be on Friday as I have a niece getting married on Sat. The reunions I've attended have been fun. As usual, I've dug my year books out and past reunion info. It always makes me smile and the smile and nostalgic feelings getting bigger and bigger every year. Thanks again for all the work. Joy, Priscilla

Hi Everyone. So glad that I came upon this website. Love the music and my compliments to Julie for her artistic talents and putting this together. It's hard to believe it's been 40 years!

How many students were in our graduating class?

From the Class of 1969 Commencement pamphlet, I count 589 students that graduated on May 29, 1969 and another 12 that graduated in January 1969.

A personal thanks to all those whose efforts have led to both this site and the 40th reunion. While I am unable to attend as I will be on a family vacation, I have desires to be present even though I doubt many would remember me. Just reviewing the class list, many profiles and pictures has brought back memories not stirred in a long time. How can it be 40 years?

I remember seeing you in school Greg. Sorry you're going to miss the reunion. Even if you were the high honors student, the athletic jock, the shy kid who kinda was just there,,,,,we all hold the same common thread. WE ARE THE UTHS CLASS OF 1969.

To all 1969 classmates,

I wish to extend my regrets on attending the reunion. I was so looking forward to it. However, my agent has just scheduled me for a speech in Bismarck, North Dakota that weekend. I can not get out of it. I will also be in the midst of moving out west during that time period. I really wanted to have a good old Frank’s pizza again with all my classmates. Please accept my apologies. Order a super pizza and have a bite for me.

I was asked about having dancing at the Friday night event at Jumer's. We won't have a DJ, but we will be playing tunes from our high school years during the evening. If the dancing bug bites, we can crank up the tunes and shake a leg. So to all the dancers coming to Jumers, be ready to kick off your shoes!

I totally agree that the website is awesome. Being unemployed it has kept me entertained. I look forward to being in the QC for a few days. Since my family doesn't live there any more, not much motivation. Hopefully Gendlers will be having a good sale, one of my favorite stops. I am looking forward to catching up. Julie mentioned that not all the folks signed up have visited the website. So I hope there is a good crowd!!

Karen...we are having a good response to both Friday and Saturday events. Every day I hear from more classmates that are coming to our reunion...I am so excited about seeing everyone again.

What a great time at the 40th UTHS Class of 69 reunion. I really enjoyed getting reaquainted with "kids" I haven't seen in years. I was touched by the memorial tribute that Julie put together. It's nice to remember our classmates who are no longer here. Remembering, Laughing, catching up and great conversation. Thanks to everyone for showing up.

The mixer Saturday was fantastic! Julie and the rest of the reunion group did an outstanding job. It was great to see all you panthers again. It just seems hard to believe that it's been 40 years! Where did time go? We were talking about having a 60th Birthday Party for all of us "cats". Let's do it!!

Glad everything turned out great for the reunion activities, I was tempted to catch a plane from Ca. at the last minute to join in, but I will just have to wait until that "60" birthday party ...hope someone makes it happen.......it would be fun to have it on a cruise ship!
Any takers for that?
For those that couldn't make these events or even if you could, there is still another gathering at Bonnie's in September. take advantage of this opportunity to "Party"
I am looking forward to seeing pictures from this recent reunion and comments posted on this great site......the best thing that has happened for our class since school was out.
JUlie and Sue, I hope you will be able to keep it going, more people are learning about it everyday. Better than facebook or classmates!
Wonderful...thanks so much for your efforts and kudos to the rest involved.
As Always, Dee Ader/Hammmond

Thanks to Julie and the entire reunion committee for the great job they did! Friday night was a lot of fun; wish I could have been there Saturday also. The memorial tribute was very touching – so many classmates gone, but not forgotten!

I hated to miss the reunion. Is anyone going to post some pictures?

Pictures will be posted soon...if any other classmates have some good pictures, please email the jpg files to julie1951@comcast.net or if you have lots of pictures, please send a CD with the jpg files. Gary, we missed you, too. It was so much fun to see everyone again. Pat Stout did a great job with the "In Memory" portion of the Friday reunion! I will try to figure out how to post that slideshow to the website as well. We are thinking about a very low-key Quad-Cities 60th birthday party in 2011. More about that later!

What a great event! It was worth the drive! Julie, Sue, Randy, Debbie, Ken,Ron and the rest of the committee did a great job. I would love to have an excuse to get back to the QC before another five years go by. If y'all need help with a 60 party, I'd be happy to do what I can from here. Thanks again!!! - K

Julie and Sue, great picture slide show.
What a hoot! I kept watching it over and over and over again...took that many times to figure out who all the old people were!OMG....What a difference 5 years makes;I thought it was only me that had changed that much. haha
It was fun trying to figure out names and faces, but Sue, I recognized you first, you own that special smile...I'd know it a hundred years from now. There are still some people I have no idea who they are. Maybe I'll have the chance to find out at the birthday bash for our 60th! I really don't want to miss it.
looks like everyone had fun, again, great job reunion crew, sorry I couldn't finish it up with you.
Thanks again for sharing..
Dee

Julie,

Just wanted to let you know that Dennis Robertson, and wife Tani, and my wife Patty, did attend the Las Vegas trip, and we had a great time!!! I will attempt to post some pictures from Vegas and share with anyone who cares to look at them. Happy to hear that the Quad Cities 40th went well. This is a wonderful site, and it is great communicating with lost souls from the past. Keep up the good work.

Hello Class of 1969

I am going to break all this politically correct mumbo jumbo and wish everyone a very MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!! There, I said it, MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!! (Besides, wishing someone a happy holiday up here in the frozen tundra of Canada means you are wishing someone a happy vacation. That is what they call vacation from work…holidays.)

It was a pleasure being contacted by fellow classmates this year and I can only hope that many more continue. Have a Happy New Year and may your CHRISTMAS be the best ever.
