ANNOUNCEMENTS

Thank you sent by Fred Segura, UTHS Principal

Dear Class of 1969,

I can’t tell you how appreciative we are of the fact that you took the time and put forth the effort to raise money for the UT Foundation.  Your gift of $1300 will go a long way in helping students and staff.  You guys may have started something new.  I hope that other classes will follow your lead and be as generous and as thoughtful as you have been.

Thanks again, and I wish you all the best.

Fred M. Segura (Class of 1972)
Principal
United Township High, District #30

UTHS Class of 1969 Donates $1,300 to the UTHS/United Education Foundation

Our Class of 1969 reunion committee wants to acknowledge our gratitude to our classmates who sent in donations and/or participated in our August reunion raffles to benefit the UTHS/United Education Foundation. On October 5, 2009, Sue Anderson Nicholson, Julie DeClerck Lenth, Glynn Johnson and Randy Oakley attended the UTHS School Board meeting to present a check from the UTHS Class of 1969 for $1,300 to the school administration and board members. Our class gift was the first donation that the UTHS/United Education Foundation has received from a class reunion event. Our hope is that this will become a tradition of giving at UTHS class reunions. The $1,300 will be used specifically at United Township High School for student scholarships and mini-grants to teachers. Your continuing support of this organization will be greatly appreciated. Our committee encourages our classmates to continue giving to the UTHS/United Education Foundation. ALL CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE FOUNDATION ARE TAX DEDUCTIBLE. Contributions may be made payable to: UTHS/United Education Foundation and mailed to:

Sincerely,

Thanks to all!

Thanks to the 40th Class of 1969 reunion committee, to the the classmates who participated in our reunion events, to those classmates that made the evenings even more special by helping us out, to all the vendors who were so kind to donate, and to Jumers and their staff that were so kind and so helpful to us on Friday and Stoney Creek for accommodating us in their Backwater Jack's Saloon. It was so much fun to see everyone again.

  • The In Memory Slideshow and Jumers reunion pictures are now added to our website...click on those links listed to your left. Backwater Jack's reunion photos will be added to the website soon!
  • If you have any reunion pictures of your own, please send them via email to Julie Lenth @ julie1951@comcast.net to post at this website.
  • UTHS Class of 1969 60th birthday party in 2011! We had so much fun at the reunion, we thought up another excuse to party together. More later on that...
  • This website will stay up as long as you, the Class of 1969, want it to stay on the Web.
  • Please help us out with any updates...heard of a few more classmates that may have passed away, so please email to julie1951@comcast.net to let us know. Also, please keep your contact information current (especially emails) and let other classmates know we are out here in Cyberspace!
