Randall “Randy” Carlson, a resident of Dothan, Alabama passed away on Thursday, May 27, 2021, at a local hospital. He was 70 years old.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at 11 am in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Stephen Russell officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. The family will receive friends for 1 hour prior to the service.
Randy was born on March 27, 1951 in Moline, Illinois to the late Chester and Ethel Carlson. He was employed with John Deere for over 30 years and resided in Colona, IL. Randy has resided in Dothan, AL for the last thirteen years. He was a member of Central Baptist Church.
Randy was preceded in death by his daughter, Rhonda Carlson.
Survivors include his wife, Aurora Carlson; his daughter, Megan Carlson; his son, Jeffery (Edita) Carlson; his brother, Curt (Jeanette) Carlson; and his extended family.

I'd like to send my condolences to the family of Randy along with the Bible's promise of a resurrection for our dead loved ones. Acts 24:15, John 5:28, 29.Death indeed is an enemy, yet soon our Heavenly Father Jehovah God will remember our loved ones asleep in death and bring them back to life in an earthly paradise. All the heartache and pain experienced by mankind will be a thing of the past.
