B. Jean VanHooser

B. Jean VanHooser, 61, of East Moline, died Saturday, Oct. 27, 2012, at her home.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2012, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Moline. Per her wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. Burial of cremains will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.

Jean was born on May 12, 1951, in Moline, to Herbert and Annette Reimers LeMaster. She married Jerry VanHooser on Dec. 21, 1968, in Moline. He preceded her in death.

Jean last worked at Genesis Medical Center, Illini Campus, in Silvis, in Environmental Services. Jean enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was dedicated to her faith as one of Jehovah's Witnesses.
Survivors include daughter, Michelle (Patrick) Kennedy, Colona; grandchildren, Clayton, Ethan, Emmalee and Trenton; mother, Annette Reimers Allison, Florida; brothers, Herbert (Ronda) LeMaster, Michael (Kaye) Myers and Mark (Leydiana) Myers, all of Florida; sister, Lita Turner, Florida; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband and father.
