Adrienna Bandy

Adrienna M. Bandy, 56, of East Moline, passed away Sunday, Dec. 23, 2007, at her home.

Services are 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 29, at Mount Zion Baptist Church, East Moline, with visitation one hour prior to services. The Rev. P.W. Harris will officiate. Burial is in Hampton Cemetery. Schroder Mortuary, Silvis, is handling arrangements.

Adrienna was born Oct. 18, 1951, in Albia, Iowa, the daughter of Max Bandy Sr. and Kathryn Teague. She came to the Quad-Cities area in 1952. At the age of 16, she was baptized at Mount Zion Baptist Church. She was a 1969 graduate of UTHS. She also attended Black Hawk College, Moline, and medical/dental school in Peoria, Ill., graduating with high honors. She had been employed previously at the Illinois Unemployment Office, Fairbanks and Morse and International Harvester.

Survivors include her father, Max Bandy Sr.; mother and stepfather, Kathryn and Crotis Teague; sisters, Darlene Bell-Liggins (Dennis), East Moline, Rosalind Edochie, Atlanta, Ga., and Sounja Teague, East Moline; brothers, Max Bandy Jr. (Kelli), Davenport, and Michael Bandy (Genna), East Moline; a host of aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by both sets of grandparents.

Sandra Dawson (Price)

Adrienna and I used to work together at Fairbanks-Morse. We had a lot of fun hanging out together and going to rock concerts. She was a very nice woman and I was sorry to hear that she had died.
