Obituary for Terry C Lampo

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Terry Carol Holder Lampo on October 25, 2024, at the age of 72. Terry was born on November 30, 1951 in Searcy, Arkansas to Earl and Betty Sue Holder.

Terry was married to the love of her life and beloved husband, Jerry Lampo of 51 years. Terry was known for her strong will, spunky, witty personality, and the endless love she had for her family and friends. She had a true passion and spent many hours researching family genealogy. One of her favorite things every year was her birthday dates with her son Todd. Terry was a devoted grandmother that always looked forward to her times at Mid America Museum and the park. She looked forward to seeing her granddaughters walking up the hill in the evenings to see what she was cooking for dinner. She was well known in the community for her high spirited and snarky comebacks while working at The Shack for almost 40 years.

Her death was preceded by her father and mother, Earl and Betty Sue Holder; her brother, David Holder; niece Rachel Owens.

Terry is survived by: husband Jerry Lampo, sons; Scott (Bobbie) Lampo of Michigan, Todd (Lori) Lampo of Fountain Lake, grandchildren Tylor Lampo, Ryan Lampo, Donovan Lampo, Madison Smith, Katie (Christian) Orrell, Kellie (Tristen) Davis: great grandchildren: Tripp Davis, Dex Orrell, and Kip Orrell; sisters Yvonne Holder Person, Tina Holder Dutton, and several nieces and nephews. Her departure leaves an unfillable void in their lives, yet they find comfort in the memories and love they shared.
