Comments:

We have moved several times with Pete's career, ending up in Pasadena because our daughter, Amanda and her family live here. Our son, Anthony and his family live in Huntington Beach and we have the pleasure of babysitting his little girl one day a week. Both of our grandgirls are the loves of our lives and put the "golden" in our golden years! We retired a year ago and have spent our time playing golf, reading, traveling and just enjoying our family. My favorite motto is: I don't wash windows, I move! Jan (Zimmerman) has always kept our address and phone numbers in pencil, because I do like moving around. We generally stay in the same area, but on occasion we will slip out of a county and even left the state of California once. That was fun, we went back to Albququerque to live by some of our dearest friends, but when our kids decided to have children, we packed in record time because I did not want to miss out on one pregnacy or baby experience! We are blessed to be in a position when Pete worked, we could choose where we wanted to live because his responsiblilites were over the whole US and it was our choice where we wanted to live. I have to say, though, we've been in Northern and Southern California now for twenty-eight years and this is home. It still warms our hearts to come back to the Quad-Cities and we try to get back there a few times a year, sometimes more. Myself and several of my friends are looking forward to going to the reunion and seeing all of you good-looking "kids". God Bless, Chris

School Story:

I enjoyed my high school years, and made some very good friends that have developed into life-long friendships. The thing I liked most about high school was the many school activities and hectic life that it all entailed. It was a good preparation for the life that we've lived and the experiences that my husband's career allowed us to have! We look back and cannot believe how fast it all went and when we look in the mirror we're always puzzeled at who those two old people are?
